It's not just the makeup that seems a bit too pink (click on the image to see more clearly). Anna Wintour isn't really the floral dresses type, is she? And the jewelry (most likely a Boucheron, since the picture was taken last night at their 150th anniversary) is a bit too much for this look.

Oh, I rather like it. But I like big jewels and florals and major blush. i suppose she could have gone for a softer application, though.

ReplyDeleteDain- I don't have a problem with either the dress (though it just doesn't look like her thing) or the necklace. It's just pairing them together that looks a bit... dare I say? tacky.
ReplyDeleteCalypso- the arms surprised me. I though all that tennis playing would keep the wings at bay. And if it doesn't, maybe a different style of dress should have been considred.
