The thought process and aesthetics that brought on the dress Rihanna was wearing for a Fendi store opening in Paris don't work for me. I don't think it works for Rihanna, either. I'm not sure if it's an issue of being a fashion victim, or what Tim Gunn calls "a little taste problem". Either way, I'd fire her stylist.

It's not so bad from the front but the back view is bad. I'd like to get a closer-up view of the texture, what is it, sequins all over? It's pretty cool-looking, I think, in a sort of Commes des Garcons kind of way....

Calypso- You're right about the CdG vibe. But I didn't like the material and thought it made her look like a turtle. I also thought the proportions were off.
