Kate Moss is 34, much too young to look like this (click the photo to get uncomfortably close to Kate). Of course, up until Amy Winehouse has arrived in our lives, Kate was the poster child of living on the edge and irregular bathing.

"She don't mind, she don't mind, she don't mind... Cocaine."
ReplyDeleteWell, I've never really understood her iconic status and I feel right that her life style is visible on her face, at least. Then again, she earns a fortune with that lousy appearance ...
ReplyDeletewe are being unkind . I would never stand up to the scrutiny...I lived my life in the sun and enjoyed every moment... and I'm 54.
ReplyDeleteI love Kate, and although I don't think this picture is very flattering, who's perfect?
ReplyDeleteI guess no one is perfect. I've never been a huge Kate fan anyway. I'm also a big fan of SPF.
ReplyDeleteI meant my quote as a compliment, actually. I'm not a huge fan, but she's the rare celebrity who just shrugs it all off.
ReplyDeleteIt reminds me of my own past heavy smoking and sun worshipping habits - my skin looks much worse than hers, sadly. She is blessed with gorgeous features, regardless of her less-than-perfect skin.
ReplyDeleteshe has great bones. But it's still a poster for "just say no"
ReplyDeleteGo Vote!
in this picture she kind of resembles my mom... my mom is 50.
ReplyDelete....not that my mom has meth-y looking sores or a crazy shiny face, but they have similar features, neither wear makeup, and they have about the same amount of lines. not good for 34, oy.
Thank You!!! I feel sooo much better! I am turning 45 on nov. 9 and I've been bummed out. But not anymore! I look way, and I mean way better than her! He He, all my clean living is paying off! I feel good, (doing a little dance). Thanks for making my day! Chantillylace
ReplyDeleteBlessed with such great bone structure, and competent makeup-artists, she will always look gorgeous! Even pictures like this can't change my opinion on her exceptional beauty.
ReplyDeleteBut: am myself 40+ and my skin is much better/younger! Spending most of the time in sun-poor Scandinavia at least has some advantages..
:)
The phrase "rode hard and put away wet" comes to mind.
ReplyDeleteOf course, "crack whore" works too.
My goodness! She looks way older than me - and I am 36.
ReplyDeleteNot hating or anything, Kate is gorgeous and successful, etc but personally I have never really understood the fuss. I suspect she was advised (very cleverly) from early on in her career to maintain a Garboesque mystique and say nothing in public. This is what I beleive elevated her to so-called iconic status. Well she has milked it and done really well, so good for her!
