Seriously.
Just like most of us, I like exquisitely made hand bags and own a couple. But I can't be the only one who thinks anything with such a huge flashy logo is nothing but tacky. Add to that the particular celebs who seem to favor these, and you get something that is never making it into my wish list.
They makes me want to go on an Etsy shopping spree.

They're not just carried by those particular celebrities, but even by (horrors!) teenagers. Which should tell you something about having giant logos plastered all over your bags.....
ReplyDeleteI am with you. And the world is flooded with LV fakes.

What bugs me is they made a perfectly serviceable and not hugely expensive sport bag (the original monogrammed canvas) and did these obnoxious "seasonal" planned obsolescence bags that scream Spring '09 for the next ten years.
ReplyDeleteAs far as I'm concerned, Hermes gets a pass, though. People in France sew those by hand out of leather.
That said, I've always wanted a Vuitton Keepall
I'm with you totally.
ReplyDeleteWell I can´t afford them yet and I do not like them. Not at all. But I really wonder whether I woul buy one of that bags that at the moment cost even more than my low budget weekend trip to Milano itself
ReplyDeleteEtsy is a great place to shop - those LV bags are hideous!
ReplyDeleteYou are paying them to advertise! That doesn't make sense. I was always to labels were supposed to be on the tag not all over the item itself.
