I was willing to give Rihanna the benefit of the doubt and make allowance for her age, too much time spent in airports and a funky personality. But this is not even a case of fashion crisis. I think it's a taste problem, and that's very very hard to fix.

ReplyDeleteWhat we're probably seeing in this picture is the result of her own style efforts as opposed to the results achieved by a good stylist. It just goes to show that she can be tricked out and groomed by the best of the best and still not have any innate good taste. Anon was right--ghetto!

ReplyDeleteEileen, as always, you nailed it. Rihanna earned the edgy and sophisticated reputation thanks to careful professional styling. Unfortunately, it didn't stick, and you can't buy good taste.
