Angelina Jolie's signature look is usually about heavier eye makeup and nude lips, so this is a nice change. She sported this bright red matte lipstick for a press event in Moscow (promoting Salt, which I have absolutely no wish to watch). This look keeps everything else to the barest minimum- black mascara and eyeliner, pale face. Nice and deceivingly simple, it keep all the focus on her natural movie star glamor.

Change is good, although this particular shade of red has too much orange for her skin tone, IMHO. She was at ComicCon this year but I didn't get a chance to see her.

ReplyDeleteShe's gorgeous no doubt, but there's a harshness in that lipcolor that doesn't serve her well. I think it ages her, a softer look/color would be better.
