Eva Longoria Parker At The 2010 MTV EMAs

Eva Longoria hosted the 2010 MTV EMAs on Sunday night. Throughout the evening she's gone through a dozen costumes (you can see some of them here), but this Georges Hobeika dress (?) was her red carpet look. This  Alexis Carrington on top-Vegas cocktail waitress on bottom isn't working for me. At all. Probably because Eva seems to have forgotten the skirt- this is what the Hobeika Couture (from his 2010 Spring/Summer runway) is supposed to look like:

  1. Maybe she couldn't afford the whole outfit! It looks MUCH better on the model.

  2. yeah, i agree. this just looked silly. cheerleader bottoms with dynasty top - not flattering. and honestly, i don't think she has either the tush or the legs to pull it off. she looks good, but you have to be flawless to work this.

    cheers,

  3. Kind of tired of seeing Eva working the Desperate-Housewives oversexed angle. It doesn't register as attractive, even though beneath all the bells and whistles she is a very beautiful woman. On another note, that model is gorgeous.

  4. I love the shoes but yes, it does look like she forgot her pants. No, underwear does not take the place of pants. lol

  5. And I really don't understand why - it's not like the outfit isn't raunchy and leggy enough with the skirt! With it it's provocative and extremely elegant, without it it's just provocative, and feels unfinished.

  6. I don't know who styled her for that event, but they need a good smack. Each outfit was worse than the last. I'm also thoroughly sick of her skin-tight sex-doll look. Loosen up, Eva. You're pretty. You'll always be pretty, even if you're not vacuum-sealed into your clothes.

  7. I think her stylist might have thought with the skirt it would point out that she's very petite. Without the skirt it just looks like a hooker circa 1989. Not good.

  9. i realized later that the other thing that bugs me about this outfit is that it is mutton-dressed-as-lamb. not something i want to see on anyone over the age of say 20. not even bow-legged kate moss. eva deserves something more elegant and age appropriate. this tries too hard.
