I don't think I've ever seen Anne Hathaway dressed so atrociously. Her Marni outfit for the screening of Rio was bordering on clownish from the midriff-baring sweater to the pants. Oh, these pants! Ruffles, wrinkles, weird print, horrible cut and odd shape, weird length... It had everything. No amount of cute shoes could save this look. Sorry, Anne. Please fire your stylist.

ReplyDeleteI read a comment somewhere that said it looked like her clothes shrunk in the dryer. Not that they "go" together, anyway.

ReplyDeletei like the pants, because of the frills and the skirt-like quality. but i don't like the rest of it. it's too chunky/clunky for the fabric of the pants - and with so much already happening in the pants region, she needs less going on in the top, graphically speaking.

Interesting to see the outfit, I remember a similar look from the early 90's. I wonder if it's true give it 20 or years and fashion comes around again?
