Ke$ha and Linda Evangelista Attended A Fashion Event

Here are Ke$ha and Linda Evangelista at the Versace for H&M Fashion event at the H&M on the Hudson on November 8, 2011 in New York City. One of them is a 24 year old woman.

Linda is still one of the most gorgeous (and best dressed) people in the universe.

  2. I swear Linda is getting MORE beautiful with age. I really miss the era of the super-models, those amazonian models of feminine perfection. Sure, they were an unattainable standard, but it was because they were exceptional (tall, lithe, perfect bone structure), not because they were starved or surgically altered. Sigh...

  3. One of them is in a bathrobe. With last night's mascara.

    And Walk of Shame Hair.

  4. An example of how not to age gracefully. That is a look that says "I am a hard boiled middle aged divorcee pretending to be young and blonde" with years of partying showing on her face.
Oh wait, isn't that LE on the bottom, the beauty with the brown hair?
In which case, the 24 year old Kesha merely looks like she's in her late 40's.

  5. I understand people want to look unique and make a statement but when it looks like you took fashion tips from Peggy Bundy and bleached your brows into oblivion you need to step back and go visit Tim Gunn.

I'd have to disagree that the supermodels were examples of feminine perfection, I don't think there is such a thing. I think, however, that they were great because they had their own interesting beauty. If you line up models today, they tend to all look alike no matter their ethnicity (similar facial features and shapes, similar body type) with maybe a change in hair or eye color. Kind of sad really. I notice a unique model and will pay attention to what she is wearing rather than a run of the mill model in designer clothes.

  6. Ke$ha really doesn't look 24, does she? Too much dirty tan, too much leopard...

Linda on the other hand is magnificent, as always.

  7. Seems kind of unfair to compare a model (someone who is already far more pretty than the average woman) and a singer...

  8. I think Linda does look the better of the two; but I have never been a big fan of Linda, either.

  9. I was at a Phillies game in August, having a relaxing evening in a red t-shirt and jeans in a sea of similarly-tee-shirted, denim-clad people. It was pointed out to me that Ke$ha was also in the stands watching the game.

She was easy to spot since she was dressed almost exactly like she is in that photo. I hadn't realized until that moment that I had assumed her persona had a performance-art quality that she could walk away from when she wasn't on stage. It was sad to realize that being Ke$ha is a 24/7 job that she never takes a break from. She didn't seem edgy or glamorous, just uncomfortable.

  11. If I didn't know who these women were, I would say that Linda was the 24 year old.

  12. Linda - my favorite of the famed supermodels - looks divine as always.

Ke$sha, well, there's a saying. Something about being ridden hard and put up wet.

  13. Linda E. looks plastic with all that botox and surgery

  14. I miss the era of Glamazon models. They were stunning and not the least bit humble about it (in most cases) which was really quite a pleasure to observe. Every now and then I'll wear my JPG Classique EdP and I feel like I should be one of those lovelies in the George Michael video for "Freedom 90", singing and slinking along.
