Michelle Williams In Dior

Apparently all it took to make Michelle Williams really smile on the red carpet is a pretty princess dress. Michelle chose this Christian Dior Spring 2011 Couture gown for the premiere of "My Week With Marilyn" in Paris. It looks like this dress makes her happy, and I feel the same seeing her like this. Michelle Williams usually goes for a much more austere style; we've rarely seen her in anything lavish in the last couple of years. I also love the bold statement of the lips and nails: she really went all out there in the glamour department. I hope this means not just happier times for Michelle but also a softer and longer hairstyle in her future.

  1. I just read that she has no plans on growing her hair out; she loves it this short.

  4. It's so nice to see her smiling and with a change of blonde as I thought her previous color was too aging.

  5. She still looks like a kid playing dress-up, but more so than usual. She can look cute, but never glam (IRL).

  8. Beautiful dress, of the type one does not see much anymore. Classic Dior. I loved the comment about looking like a kid playing dress-up---'tis true!

  9. Actually, I like the hair. She is one of the rare people who can rock a pixie haircut. She has the eyes and the well-balanced features to do that. Her long hair made her look kind of "meh", rather than distinctive. And the reds she wears are good for her coloring without overwhelming her.
