Tilda Swinton and Dita Von Teese couldn't be more different, yet both share a love for Lanvin. It's interesting to see how the house's style suits both of them so well, from Dita's red talons to Tilda's no eyelashes.

I adore Tilda's dress - color, drape, everything - but I do wish her hair weren't So Very Yellow: I don't feel it does anything for her or the dress. And I don't like the shoes with the dress, or the fact that they are radically different from the belt she has on (did it come with the dress or was it her addition?)

ReplyDeleteHow is Dita's skin so perfect? Good lord, is she washing it in milk every night? And I love Tilda and her alien good looks, but I would love to see a bit of makeup on her. She looked divine in "I Am Love" is classic makeup: red lips, a bit of shadow and mascara. She's stunning regardless.
The colours of both these dresses are absolutely lovely, mysterious yet feminine, not too bold, not too flat. Flattering them as well.
