Pippa Middleton at the 'Shadow Dancer' Premiere

Pippa Middleton attended the London premiere of the movie Shadow Dancer sporting some serious tan. Her makeup usually looks very casual, and the same was true last night, except for the graphic liquid eyeliner. I like this kind of eyeliner, but the black is so harsh and it clashes with Pippa's natural eyebrows and sheer foundation. She's lovely, of course, and not even an overdone cat-eye can take away from it. But less tan and a softer eyeliner would have suited her better.

  1. I always always found her too tanned. It makes her look so much older! Pull it back Pippa!

  2. WAY too tan - and the liner really doesn't look good on her. IMO, her sister is much prettier - Pippa has a very masculine-looking face, which is emphasized by the tan.

  3. I won't be as harsh as Karl Lagerfeld but Pippa is not beautiful, not pretty ,not lovely and not stylish. She's really quite plain.

    1. Hi Ana,

I was beginning to think I was one of the few who found Pippa to be rather plain and unattractive. Although she has a lovely figure, she has a masculine look about her face and she really doesn't have much style sense or grace. It's really a shame because she obviously has the money and all the resources to do much better.

  4. I think Pippa can be lovely if she plays to her beauty strengths but I feel as though she hasn't yet discovered them or how to best show them.

And this look . . . ugh, I have no words. No nice ones, anyway.

  5. I have to say I'm pretty shocked at the malice and lack of compassion in most of the previous posts. Poor Pippa! I would like to add that I think she and her sister are quite lovely. It's nice to see celebrities who look like a girl next door rather than super model Botox boob job lookalikes. I do think this makeup doesn't suit her and does make her look older than she is. And i hope she finds some make up tuition to help her look her best. Having seen her look much prettier in other photos, this was a good lessen for me in how makeup techniques can make or break us.

    1. I fully agree. I enjoy following both Kate and Pippa and find many things to like about them. I can also identify with Pippa on a certain level: the constant comparisons to her sister is emotionally taxing and frustrating. My younger sister has always been the pretty one; it took both of us becoming adults and coming into our own in every aspect of life before the comparisons stopped and both of us became free of the pressure.

    2. I understand. I have three sisters, each of us with our own plusses and minuses. I can't even imagine the pressure of being compared to her Princess sister! You have to be pretty self confident to be a celebrity these days.
