I'm willing to forgive Kim Kardashian her atrocious outfit, but not the way she carries her new kitten, Mercy, as though she's a fashion accessory. Despite what Kim and Khloe might think, cats are not the new chihuahuas. They should ask Choupette Lagerfeld.

I agree, too many people treat their furry companions as accessories. That kitten cannot be too happy. The outfit is pretty bad too.
ReplyDeleteThat poor kitty is unquestionably a "fashion accessory" being used by Kim as part of a photo op. I see this and can't help but be reminded of a few years back when so many pretentious women were carrying Papillons around in their specially deigned luxury totes until the novelty wore off. Since cats aren't nearly as likely to submit to being lugged around (witness the second picture from the top) as the adorable pocket pooches, hopefully this will not become a trend. Someone should tell Kim that just because she now has an adorable white kitty, it doesn't transform her into a fashion muse.
