Krysten Ritter attended the 2012 Entertainment Weekly Pre-Emmy Party in West Hollywood wearing a pretty Dior Fall 2012 dress. The dress is very Dior, but the lack of a slip underneath is incredibly tacky and kills the look for me. Krysten Ritter is as beautiful as always, though. I like the pulled back hair and that her usually blunt bangs were styled in a more interesting way. I just want to smack her stylist.

Krysten Ritter definitely rocks in this gown. We actually quite like the lack of a slip, it makes it quite edgy! We are not sure about the hair style though. We would have preferred to see a more classic hair style. What do you think?
ReplyDeleteAll I would be thinking is "my underwear is showing!" if I were wearing it. lol but her makeup and jewelry is beautiful.
ReplyDeleteDoes anyone even make slips anymore? I love a lacy slip.
ReplyDeleteThe dress is a bit too figure skater for me...
ReplyDeleteIn truth, when I first glanced at the picture, I thought she was wearing an apron for some odd reason. LOL. When I put my glasses on to have a better look, it was apparent that she was rocking the lamentable transparent skirt trend and that the "apron" was her dark underpinnings. It works on a runway, and since she is on a red carpet, I guess it's OK even though it's not my cup a tea. See-through skirt aside, I think she looks bold and confident.
ReplyDeleteTacky, tacky, tacky. This photo makes me feel much older than my 52 years.
ReplyDeleteLawrence in Ohio.
i think she looks great! even without a slip. a slip would've made it too demure for her. the undies go with her jet hair! nice makeup, too.
ReplyDeletefor the record, on someone else, i might've thought "tacky" too - but not on her.
cheers,
minette
She needs a slip.
ReplyDeleteShe looks like an uglier, less well-styled version of Anne Hathaway.
ReplyDeleteI love 95% of this look, like an edgy Audrey Hepburn. Her underwear make me think of Wonder Woman. I'd like to have her shoes, please.
ReplyDeleteNo one looks elegant dressed like she's between acts at a burlesque show. I'd smack the stylist, too. Style is knowing what to hide and what to reveal. I suppose her PR person told her she'd get more press this way (as in "any press is good press"). Sad.
