Spring Lip Colors

Selena Gomez and Hayden Panettiere, chose bright spring lipsticks for events they attended over the weekend. Hayden Panettiere wore some kind of alien pink (and an ugly sweater) to a Nashville panel, while Selena matched her orange lips to her Dolce & Gabbana skirt for a SXSW breakfast (I wanted to hate the outfit, but I can't. It goes with the event, her image and her age).  Meanwhile, Lauren Graham chose an elegant path with her red lips and an all black outfit:

Not related to lipstick but always gorgeous was my girl Ginnifer Goodwin. She attended the 4th Annual Milk+Bookies Story Time Celebration sporting some very graphic eye makeup: impressive brows and a shimmery liquid blue eyeliner. I don't think she's wearing any lip product and her face is as Snow White as ever. I do hope she'll grow her hair back at some point.

I'll be at the mirror working on my eyebrows.

  1. Lauren Graham can do no wrong. She always looks amazing.

While I usually hate on Hayden Panettiere, I actually think her lip color is adorable!

While I agree that the "alien pink" was an odd choice, I much prefer it over the "dead from the nose down" look of no colour on the lips.

I thought that last one was a boy. I'm not really into popular culture; I have no idea who it is.

  3. Selena Gomez looks amazing! I wonder what lippie she is wearing. Gorgeous shade. Spring Breakers...not a very good film. :P

  4. Sorry - I can't get behind Ginnifer Goodwin's look. Too much brow, not enough hair. She's cute, but the look just isn't flattering.

Speaking of lipstick, I was impressed with your review of the new Givenchy Le Rouge. I ordered Rose Dentelle - I've got to exchange it at Sephora ASAP. It looks like a lovely deep rose in your post - in actuality, it's an orange-red on me. I do love the texture (and the case), so I'm hoping to find a color that suits me.
