GlamNatural Cream Blush In Sun Kissed

The packaging of GlamNatural cream blushes won me over before the product did. It's sturdy, elegant, has a cute velveteen pouch, and most important: comes in a glass bottle with an airless pump, meaning it won't become a Petri dish.

Then there was the color , Sun Kissed, a coral-ish, Sienna-ish rose that looks healthy and skin-like. The texture and finish of GlamNatural is moisturizing and dewy, but as long as you don't over-apply (more on that in a second), it will not look greasy. You can tone it down with a powder blush or a finishing powder, but I'd recommend to experiment first and see how the blush adjusts to your face. Personally, I like the youthful finish and find the blush very long lasting (over a well-applied and primed base). I do add a dab of powder blush on high humidity days because I believe in cementing one's makeup into place.

The ingredient list looks quite friendly, but do notice that it's a silicone-based product, so avoid if you're sensitive to it:

Butyrospermum Parkii (Shea Butter)
Dimethicone*
Helianthus Annuus (Sunflower Oil)
Rhus Verniciflua Peel Wax (Berry Wax)
Vitis Vinifera (Grape Seed Oil)
Simmondsia Chinensis (Jojoba Oil)
Iron Oxides (C177491,77492, 77499)
Titanium Dioxide (CL77891)

I was warned that GlamNatural cream blushes are intensely pigmented and concentrated, but I was still taken by surprise. All you need is the tiniest dot of product. A pea-size drop is enough for five faces. This means two things: 1) a bottle will last till the end of days, and 2) blend, blend, and the blend again.  I use a Hakuhodo 210 or a Mizubake brush.

You can see how Sun Kissed can look in various blending levels. You can also see how much coverage it gives, and that the swatch was created with way too much product. That was the first time I pumped it out. since then I've learned to be extremely careful with it and have enjoyed the blush tremendously.

Bottom Line: great.

GlamNatural Cream Blush (Sun Kissed is one of five shades)  can be purchased from glamnaturalmakeup.com ($32). The product was sent free of charge for my consideration by the company's PR.

  1. Looks like a great product, but I'd love to see it on the face.
