Giorgio Armani Eyes To Kill Mascara

One of my readers, Dea, has turned my attention to Giorgio Armani's Eyes To Kill mascara, and I can't thank her enough for it. I really thought I've seen everything when it comes to mascara, but this is definitely a new level of awesome. The difference between Eyes To Kill and other mascaras on the market is how natural it looks. It doesn't appear heavy, there are no stray fibers or noticeable goop, yet my eyelashes are longer, more defined and they curl nicely even before I go after them with the Shu.

The brush plays a big part in Eyes To Kill's success. It looks like a normal mascara wand, maybe with thicker, plusher bristles, but it separates the lashes like nothing I've tried before and distributes just the right amount of color. The coat is even and sleek, and the color itself is very black without being glossy, which contributes to the natural appearance.

The effect is not dramatic- for that there's always Givenchy Phenomen'Eye, which makes every single lash look longer, blacker and thicker, but also looks obviously painted. Armani Beauty has achieved the seemingly impossible: beautiful, long lashes that could really be natural (if only!).

Other quality factors are also here- no smudging, dotting, flaking or cooning (only mascara users would get this), it stays put from morning to night, yet its easy to remove both with drugstore wipes or the ubiquitous Lancome Bi-Facil.

Bottom line: Love (and then some).

Giorgio Armani Eyes To Kill Mascara ($28) is available at Saks, Barneys and Neiman Marcus.

  1. Yay! You found some. I'm so glad you like it, too. I haven't tried a million mascaras like you have, but this one felt so amazing and perfect the first time I applied it.

It's good for day and night. . .and is almost waterproof, without the drag of the waterproof formula. Like you said, it doesn't budge.

I don't gush about many beauty products, but this and laura mercier creme silk foundation have literally rescued me from two major frustrations in the morning.

    cheers.

  2. It's the best mascara I've ever used, am very happy to be fast enough to buy it on Strawberrynet.com.
