Weekly Roundup- May 13th

As many of you know, Blogger had a serious outage this week, making it impossible to post and comment for nearly 24 hours. Some posts were missing for a while, but as of this afternoon the only thing that hasn't been restored yet are comments made between Wednesday night (Eastern Time) and Thursday afternoon.  Hopefully the Google team will be able to dig those up soon. Feed subscribers might experience some déjà vu, but there are already new posts, so hopefully not everything you get in your email will be a repeat.

Other than losing sleep over the state of my blog (needlessly. I had everything backed up), there was more admiring of summer collections. There is more of that to come, in case anyone still needs a new bronzer, but for now,  let's have a look at the best of the beauty blogging world:

The Beauty Look Book shares with us her favorite eye palettes from Dior Summer Collection Electric Tropics.

Gouldylox Reviews shows us swatches of the 10 new Bare Escentuals summer eye colors.

Best Things in Beauty fascinates us with Le Métier de Beauté's Mediterranean Holiday Kaleidoscope Eye Kit.

BeautyXposé gives us a look at the soft pretty pastel shades of nail polishes by Nubar.

Fab Over Forty shows us how to re-create the red carpet look worn by the beautiful Penelope Cruz.

Café Makeup reviews and swatches the Guerlain Ombre Fusion cream eye shadows.

Daly Beauty explores for us her newest fragrance love in Acqua di Parma Profumo.

Diva Debbi experiments on a lash growth mascara with Rimmel's Lash Accelerator.

Product Girl shares her thoughts on the newly re-packaged Lisa Hoffman Beauty shower products.
And even more good stuff:

Olfactorialist reviews a beautiful DSH perfume.

Dain of Ars Aromatica analyzes Bobbi Brown as a makeup artist in one of the best articles I've read lately.

London Makeup Girl reviews the newly reformulated Bobbi Brown Concealer Kit. The brave soul also recorded a video.

Abe of I Mean... What? has something to say about social media climbers. He also has a few suggestions for The Gap.

Have a happy and beautiful weekend. Wishing you love and good shopping.

  1. Thank you for wishing me love and good shopping. Only a beauty blogger would say such a thing! I love it - right back at you.
