Jennifer Lawrence On Her Dior Campaign Photos

"That doesn't look like me at all. I love Photoshop more than anything in the world. Of course that's Photoshop. People don't look like that."  --Jennifer Lawrence on the photos from her Dior campaign.

  1. I love her honesty, however, I wonder if Dior still likes to keep her as a face now. I once remembered something similar with Helena Carter when she declared never wearing makeup (I forgot which brand but an article is over here http://www.businessinsider.com/controversial-celebrity-endorsements-2012-8?op=1)

  3. Why photo shop the ultimate girl next young beauty to look like a morose middle aged plain jane?

    2. That's the question. She was so gorgeous at the Oscars, and here she looks like a mannequin. Her comment was great, though, this girl is adorable, and I'm sure that will pay more in the long run than being Dior's sheep.

  4. Wow. Every company employs photoshop but Dior is usually one of the better ones. If you hadn't called my attention to it, I never would have known that was her.

  5. Sometimes it seems like the only reason companies hire a celeb to be their "face" is so that they can use the celeb's features as a template for the image they really want to create via photoshop. Julia Roberts, Kate Winslet, Katie Holmes, Zooey Deschanel, and now Jennifer Lawrence, have all been photoshopped beyond recognition. I think we all know that the doctored images are far from a true representation of how the celebrity looks. I just hope the celebrities realize they don't look like the flawless images that end up gracing the magazines.

  6. I just love Jennifer. :)
Now I want to watch again Hunger Games - she was the perfect choice for that role.

P.S. I hope I'm not repeating myself, it seemed like my comment didn't go through the first time I tried.

  7. I really do love that she's so honest and "unfiltered", as in, not trained by publicists to be a pretty face reciting bland, polite nothings. I hope she never changes!
