NARS Na Pali Coast Multiple- Spring 2014

Fans of The Multiple by NARS will be happy with the new Spring 2014 collection as it brings us Na Pali Coast, a new multiple in a very pretty color and finish. While NARS press materials described Na Pali Coast as a "shimmering rose peach" to my eye (and on my skin) it's neither rosy nor peachy (and the shimmer is barely even there). You can see that the amount of light used in the photos changed the way this Multiple looks quite dramatically. I'm sitting here staring at the actual products as I type this and still can't quite pinpoint the color in the miserable natural light of a rainy winter day. I'd say that Na Pali Coast is a beige coral with a satin finish.

Na Pali Coast imparts warmth to the skin and can be shirred to a point that it's not even blush: just a light healthy flush (my skin tone is a pale olive with the intensity of NC30-35 but much more neutral). The brilliance of the Multiple is that it can be used anywhere on the face and applied with fingers or brushes, blended every which way, layered and or sheered. I tend to use these sticks to the very last drop of color, and Na Pali Coast looks like it's going to be another much beloved item. As someone who's been ready for spring since around Thanksgiving, I can also tell you that I'm already using this one to brighten my days and face. It has yet to bring the sun back, but I'm already feeling better.

NARS Na Pali Coast Multiple for Spring 2014 ($39) will be available at NARS boutiques and on narscosmetics.com starting tomorrow (January 15th). The product for this review was sent for my consideration by PR.
