Chanel Fall 2013: Khaki Précieux Stylo Yeux Waterproof Long-Lasting Eyeliner

Chanel Fall 2013 Superstition Collection adds a new shade of Stylo Yeux Waterproof Long-Lasting Eyeliner to the line: Khaki Précieux (104). Chanel Stylo Waterproof pencils vary in quality and texture Some are excellent, like Santal from the spring collection, others are a disaster-- True Blue from Chanel Summer 2013 is an example. Thankfully, Khaki Précieux is among the very best, with a soft and creamy texture that doesn't tug or pull the eye lid.

Khaki Précieux is a metallic brassy color that adds a gleam to the eye area. This shade goes well with both summer and fall colors, making a great addition to Chanel's permanent line. I couldn't find anything similar in my collection, so the only comparison I can offer is for Pixi Cafe Gold (I don't have the khaki shade from Pixi). The texture of the Pixi pencil is softer than Chanel Stylo, almost like a cream eye shadow stick. The color of Cafe Gold is more brown, so they're definitely not interchangeable.

Khaki Précieux ($30) Stylo Yeux Waterproof Long-Lasting Eyeliner joins Chanel permanent line. It's arriving at the counters as we speak and already available online from Nordstrom.

  1. It looks so pretty that I'm tempted to buy it but I have such a problem with these kinds of liners. I just can't get them to leave a line of color without going over and over the line on my eye and that is uncomfortable. Guess I just need to stick with kohl pencils! :)
