Lancome Timeless Taupe Color Design Infinite 24H Cream Eye Shadow

When Lancome first launched their Color Design Infinite 24H cream eye shadow range I chose to take the road less traveled by and picked Forever Noir, an intense shimmer black. Yes, of course I knew Lancome also offered a taupe (and also khaki, jade as well as several other beauties), but just how many taupe colored eye shadows does one need?

As many as possible, apparently.

Lancome Color Design Infinite 24 H is a long lasting non-budging cream eye shadow. Timeless taupe has a beautiful metallic finish, a smooth and soft texture, and the color itself is among the most perfect taupes: not too brown, not too gray-- just right. I've heard it compared to some of the most legendary discontinued Shu Uemura taupe eye shadows, but I think it stands beautifully on its own.

Lancome Color Design Infinite 24 H eye shadows come in a little glass pot with an inner press lid that keeps air out of the product. I wish all brands that make cream eye shadows would add this little device because it prevents drying and flaking.

Bottom Line: a must have.

Lancome Timeless Taupe Color Design Infinite 24H Cream Eye Shadow ($24.50) is available at the counters, Sephora and lancome-usa.com.

  1. I bought this on eBay over the weekend because of this review! Can't wait to get it and play - another taupe to add to the hundreds already in my bedroom =)
