Chanel Rouge Coco Shine Cavaliere & Rebelle

My recent purchase of Chanel Rouge Coco Shine in Pygmalion from the Summer 2013 collection reminded me how much I love this range of sheer-yet-pigmented lipsticks. Since Chanel released Rouge Coco Shine two years ago I've managed to use up at least two of the six colors I had, so I went back and checked what else was in there.

Rebelle (#63) and Cavaliere (#65) were partof the original 2011 release and are still available (though probably not for long: Chanel lists them in the "Encore" section of the website). Rebelle is a bright red, somewhere between a tomato and an apple. Cavaliere is a purple/brown raisin color with far less shimmer on the lips than appears in the tube. Both are pretty and right on trend. Both lipsticks leave a stain behind that lasts longer than the shiny finish. They're easy to apply and quite low maintenance.

Bottom Line: pretty!

Chanel Rouge Coco Shine Cavaliere &  Rebelle ($34 each) are available at the counters and from chanel.com.

  1. I have Cavaliere, it is lovely - rather sheer, and nice and creamy.
