Weekly Roundup March 11th, 2011

Complaining about the weather, my lingering cough, the climbing gas prices or Charlie Sheen seem petty and silly in light of today's events in Japan. My heart and thoughts are with my Japanese readers, wishing them and their country peace and comfort.

Here, as always, we're trying to bring you the best of all that's pretty and nice. There's quite a bit to see and covet this week:

Giorgio Armani's Eyes To Kill series is top notch and adored by most. From the gorgeous palettes to one of the best mascaras ever, I can't have enough. Charlestongirl brings us the new Eyes to Kill eye shadows for Spring 2011 at Best Things in Beauty.

While I passed on Bobbi Brown's Peony & Python Collection, everyone else seems to love it. Kari at Fab over Forty looks gorgeous in it, so those of you with similar coloring should take notice.

Lucky Amy is in Paris and we get to benefit from her discoveries. Here is her Café Makeup feature about her first shopping trip after she arrived. I'm green with envy.

I have a huge thing for Asian makeup. Of course, I can only wear about 10% of the colors from some brands or collection (when I can even get my hands on them), which leaves me to live vicariously through some of my favorite bloggers. Sabrina showed us the exotic, Asia-exclusive Blossom Glossimer from Le Blanc Collection from Chanel. Find it at The Beauty Look Book.

Pink might not really be my favorite color but I adore it on others. Jane has a lot to show us in her feature "All Things Pink and Beautiful" at Daly Beauty. From Chanel to Tarte, she presented us with some marvelous pink options.

I'm usually stumped when asked for product recommendation for redheads, but that's where Kelly comes in. She found great brow products for redheads. See her discovery at Gouldylox Reviews.

Carla at Product Girl found another winner from Maybelline with the new One by One Volum' Express Mascara. Maybelline has so many mascara hits. Find out why this one is special.

Anne brings us some fun nail polish colors from China Glaze Anchor Away collection. See it on BeautyXposé. I don't know- several of these shades look a bit too familiar to me, but hey, color!

Juliet Stewart cosmetics have had a cult following for years. Debbi brings us Juliet Stewart's new fragrance, Juliet Eau De Parfum, at DivaDebbi.

This year's Annie's 40 Days and 40 Nights series on Blogdorf Goodman is dedicated to perfume notes. I'm checking in every day.

More fabulous perfumes: Victoria from Bois de Jasmin reviewed one of my big loves of the passing year, Guerlain Tonka Imperiale. Also, don't miss her review of a modern classic, Serge Lutens Fleurs d'Oranger.

Back to Armani Eyes To Kill single shadows, one of the colors I'm most interested to try was features on Delicate Hummingbird. Now I'm also coveting the one from Rouge Bunny Rouge. I might have to do something about it.

One last treat for all taupe fans: Becca Enigma palette reviewed by Elvira on Pink Sith. Apparently we all need it.

Have a safe and calm weekend!
