By Terry Grey Motion Intense Liquid EyeLiner

I bought By Terry Grey Motion (No. 5) Intense Liquid EyeLiner in Paris, since By Terry's fall collection Back In Blue came out in Europe weeks before it appeared here. I'm an eyeliner fiend, especially in pen form, but for some reason I didn't have anything even remotely similar to this muted almost-khaki gray tone in my collection. I loved it Grey Motion from the very first try- something about the elegant color and barely shimmery finish hit the spot for me.

The shape of the felt tip is very easy to use. It's balanced, you can see exactly what you're doing and can control the thickness without being a pro. I find that you can easily tightline with By Terr's pen and the pigment stays put and doesn't hurt the eye. It's worth mentioning that the first couple of uses the ink takes its sweet time to flow, but now that I've had it for a while everything goes smooth.

By Terry Grey Motion Intense Liquid EyeLiner ($43 or 30 euro is available from Barneys, SpaceNK and By Terry stores and counters around the world. As far as I can see, only the European site offers it online at the moment, so if you're in the US give Barneys a call

  1. I love eyeliner pens, and am semi-familiar with the By Terry brand. I will have to try this, we have a SpaceNK store in our local Bloomingdales. Do they have other interesting colors, I'm in the market for green pens.

  2. Elizabeth, I don't think they have a green one. Actully, I can't think of anyone who currently offers a green pen. I hope LMdB will come up with it.
