Urban Decay Heavy Metal Eyeliner- Holiday 2013

Holiday collections are about sparkle, and Urban Decay is delivering it in spades this year. Even those of us who are being careful with glitter and metallic colors can usually pull it off as an eyeliner after-hours. This is where the Heavy Metal eyeliners, a very fine glitter suspended in gel come in. They are offered in seven colors that can be used alone (especially if you build the intensity) or as a sparkling layer over an eye shadow or a pencil liner. I've been playing with creating some combination, both from the same color family, as well as any color over black or brown. It's fun to apply, since the quality of the liner is very good (I always liked the Urban Decay liquid liners). The glitter stays in place (it takes a good soak in a makeup remover or a thick balm to get rid of it completely) so you can create a very precise look.

Here are the colors of Urban Decay Heavy Metal Eyeliner:

Glamrock: silver
Distortion: iridescent
ACDC: purple
Spandex: midnight blue
Amp: aqua
Junkshow: pink
Midnight Cowboy: Urban Decay's classic beige

Bottom Line: other than the pink, all of these can be find a good use for the right event.

Urban Decay Heavy Metal Eyeliners ($19 each) are available from urbandecay.com. The products were supplied by PR.
