Dior Addict Lipstick 680 Millie

Theres' a significant difference between the way Dior Addict lipstick in Millie (#680) appears in the tube and how it looks on skin. The bold plum turns into a sheer mauve and loses most of the shimmer. It might disappoint some, but mind I don't really since Millie is so pretty on the lips and enhances the natural color. This Dior Addict lipstick is a great everyday shade and looks pretty neutral on me.

The formula of the new Dior Addict lipsticks is sheer and moisturizing. Millie is not the shiniest of the bunch (see the swatch next to Gibraltar) and the shimmer particles somehow disappear, but it lasts longer than I expected and almost survives a cup of tea.

Bottom Line: another good one.

My next post later today will be a giveaway for two other Dior Addict lipsticks: Singulière 465 and It Pink 554.

Dior Addict lipstick in 680 Millie ($28) is available from most department stores and Sephora.

  1. I've lost count of the number of Dior Addict lippies I have - that certainly tells you something!

  2. This is one of the first Dior items in a long while that's really impressed me. I have two more on the way. Lovely shade. Thanks!

  3. I'm so happy you reviewed this particular shade! I haven't seen it mentioned much but it's so beautiful. Although it is a lot more pigmented one me.

  4. Jamilla, most definitely! I only have three at the moment, but just because I'm already up to my ears in sheer lipsticks (Chanel, Laura Mercier, Burberry...).

  6. Adele, it seems that the very pink and coral ones are the more popular shades right now, so I'm happy to feature the less discussed colors.
