Edward Bess- Bed Of Roses Blush Extraordinaire

Edward Bess Blush Extraordinaire in Bed Of Roses has finally arrived here (I have no idea why it took so long. I pre-ordered it in February). It's one of three colors in the recently released Blush Extraordinaire range- I already reviewed the coral(ish) Secret Affair and passed on the lightest pink, Filled With Desire. Bed Of Roses is a perfect embodiment of its name, a mid-tone pink that leans cool and has a very sweet and young appearance on skin without looking out of place.

I find the formula of Edward Bess Blush Extrordinaire lighter and less pigmented initially than his Blush Imperiale, but you can build intensity in a couple of strokes while maintaining the natural appearance and texture of your skin. The swatches above were done with the smallest Yachiyo brush from Hakuhodo.

Bottom Line: perfect for spring.

Edward Bess- Bed Of Roses Blush Extraordinaire ($43) is available from Bergdorf Goodman, select Neiman Marcus locations and Sephora.
