Nuxe Reve de Miel Hand And Nail Cream

It's no secret that I'm a hand care zealot and quite picky about the products I use on my paws. Many a face serum sample get delegated to hand duty, especially if I don't have enough of it for weeks of testing on my face (seriously, what am I supposed to do with a single use packet?); I usually choose hand creams with strong anti-aging property. Nuxe Reve de Miel Hand And Nail Cream might not be quite in that category, but it's an excellent moisturizer that gives both my hands and nails a boost in the way they feel and look.

The ingredient list is full of natural oils and extracts (but also contains castor oil and dimethicone, so take note if you have issues with either). I'm especially in favor of the high dosage of sweet almond oil and avocado oil- both have always been good for my hands. I use the cream daily and apply extra when doing my nails- the cream absorbs on touch and doesn't leave any greasy residue, so my laptop is almost as thankful as me and my cuticles.

Nuxe Reve de Miel Hand And Nail Cream also smells very luxurious, like a good floral perfume. The scent remains there for a while and contributes to the pampered feeling I get from the cream.

Bottom Line: It's quickly become a staple.

Nuxe Reve de Miel Hand And Nail Cream ($19, 75ml) is available from various online and offline retailers including beauty.com. A press sample was sent by the company for my consideration.

  1. I was able to try a sample packette of this and liked it very much also.

Nothing can replace my favorite though, Shiseido Advanced Essential Energy hand cream. I actually have never looked deeply into the ingredients, but I do know that my hands LOVE it, and it's the most luxurious thing ever. It doesn't really sink in all the way, so I like it best to absentmindedly massage into hands and cuticles while watching tv for a good while.

  2. I had this hand cream and I did like it however lately I have been using just pure vaseline on my hands (dermatitis)as everything else seems to irritate my skin.
From the Nuxe Reve de Miel range I would really recommend the face cleansing gel - it's very gentle and great even for my blemish-prone skin.

  3. This has been my holy grail hand cream for several years, I've tried a lot and this is the only one that really heals my chapped hands in Winter.
The lip balm is fantastic, too.

  4. I find it interesting that you mention this cream's scent. I was amused when I caught myself thinking that one of the best things I smelled last year was Jurlique's Moisture Replenishing Day Cream. I got a sample of it when I bought another Jurlique moisturizer. It's beyond "rich", a total grease pot, and I gave up on even trying to use it on my face or anywhere else- but I loved its scent, a sensational, all natural, peppery chypre accord. Worth sneaking into one of Sephora stores - most of them carry it - just to get a whiff... Maybe someone with very dry skin can handle it, and they will certainly smell great.

  5. Thank you for this, it's come at a really opportune moment as I'm searching for a good hand moisturizer since my hands are not dealing well with the cold this winter.
